Leonard "Rock" Ansert, 77, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, August 5, 2019.
He was born on November 6, 1941 in Louisville, Kentucky to Ernest and Mildred (Angermeier) Ansert. He is preceded in death by his parents, and 2 brothers, Don and Jim Ansert.
Rock was a proud graduate of the class of 1960 at Flaget High School where he was an outstanding athlete. He retired from Coca-Cola with more than 40 years of service. He was also an avid sports fan.
Leonard is survived by loving children; Fred "Moe" Ansert, Dorothy Ashley (Blaine Morgan) Teresa (Greg ) Milewski, Angie (Ted ) Hubrich, grandchildren; Brittany, Brooke, Gabrielle, Ashley, Allie, Alec, and Cameron; great grandchildren, Chloe, Rowan, Maggie, and Mollie.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, August 9, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, at Incarnation Catholic Church.
The family would like to thank the nurses at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital, and the staff of Hosparus Care.
The family requests that contributions in Rock's memory be made to Mass of the Air, Louisville, KY.
