Leo Paul Heavrin, 67, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2021. He retired from Carriage Ford in Clarksville after over 30 years of employment. Leo loved his children and grandchildren and enjoyed going fishing.

He was born on July 3, 1953, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late Richard and Martha (Rickert) Heavrin. In addition to his parents, Leo was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Heavrin.

Leo is survived by his children, Jeramy Heavrin and Lauren Shireman (Chris); siblings, David Heavrin (Kathryn) and Nancy Woolfolk (Robert); and grandchildren, Alex Heavrin and Graeme and Quinn Shireman.

Leo's wish was to be cremated, and a reception of family and friends will be from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 3, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Contributions in his memory may be made to any charity that supports Autism.
