Lena M. Updike, 86, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on January 27, 2018.
Lena was born on December 8, 1931 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late William Casey and Etta Nall. She was also preceded in death by her husband, JC Updike; sister, Arleen Darst; and brother, Carl Nall "Tinker".
She is survived by her children, Brenda Jaggers (Bob), Larry Updike (Judy), Robert Updike (Marcia), John Updike, Michael Devers (Jeannie); brothers, Roy Nall (Joyce) and James Casey "Ikey"; and many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, East Chapel (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243). A funeral ceremony will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Frankfort Cemetery in Frankfort, KY.
