Leif Haldane Ashby, 32, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2017. He graduated from the University of Louisville Speed School of Engineering summa cum laude. Leif had a love for art, as well as technology. He was an employee at Level 12 Technologies in Jeffersonville.
He was born on November 10, 1985, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Steward and Bonnie (Fisher) Ashby. Along with his parents, Leif is survived by his sister, Freya Ashby; grandfather, Mason Ashby; as well as several aunts and uncles, and many cousins.
Leif was preceded in death by his grandparents, Shirley Ashby, and Russell and JoAnne Fisher.
Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 5, 2017, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with his Funeral Service taking place at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
