Leela Imogene Cooper, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on April 6, 2018. She retired from Ky Ignition and was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church.

Imogene was born on December 28, 1923, in Bowling Green, Kentucky to the late Lee and Lucille(Cherry) Scott. She was also preceded in death by her Husband, Gwyn Cooper and her great-grandson Chad Maddox.

Imogene is survived by her Sons, Larry Cooper (Sarah), and Lloyd Cooper, and her Sister, Martha Ann Resch. Three Grandchildren, Seven Great-Grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday April 10, from 4 to 8 pm, and on Wednesday April 11 from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions- Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville). A celebration of Imogene's life will be on Wednesday April 11, 2018 at 2:00 pm, with burial to follow at in Bethany Cemetery
