Lawrence Denver Vessels (Larry), Jr. a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, friend passed away at home with family at his side on Monday February 12, 2018.
He was a retired Material Handler for Ford Motor Co. Larry was preceded in death by his parents Charlotte and Lawrence Vessels; his daughter, Cathy Vessels, his son, Darrell Davis; his grandson, Matthew Hedgespeth and brother Dale Vessels.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Vessels; children, Tina Covington, Sunny Gaither, Barbie Cundiff, Tisha Masi, Terry Vittitoe, Gary Vittitoe, Lawrence Vessels, Julie Brown, Michael Davis, Dennis Davis, Michelle Vogel; siblings, Tom Vessels, Pamela Sutherin, Regina Sue Parker, and Valerie Key and 29 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Larry's life will be held from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer, Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Chapel (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243) with a memorial service at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Jon Caranna officiating.
