Lawrence "Larry" Hobert Bodner, 54, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2019.

He was born on August 4, 1964 in Louisville, Kentucky. He was an advocate for the disabled in Louisville. Larry "Sneakin' Deacon" had a great sense of humor and could brighten up any room. He was member of the Miles Lodge #341 at Cupio in Bullitt County. Larry always put family first and he will be truly missed by those that knew him.

He is preceded in death by his Mother, JoAnn Bodner, and Grandparents, Louis and Mildred Bodner.

Larry is survived by his loving Wife and Best Friend of 30 years, Christine Head Hobert, Sister, Mary Harris, Brother, Albert (Sandy) Bodner, Sister, Doris (James) Miller, Sister, Janice Bodner, Sister, Donna (David) Miller, Sister, Sharon (Glen) Davidson, Brother, Louis (Brenda) Bodner, Brother, Robert (Frankie) Bodner.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, June 21, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park in Louisville, Kentucky.
