Lawrence H. Genslinger, age 70, passed away April 2, 2010. He was a member of the American Legion Shawnee Post and a US Navy veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Mayme and son Ricky Durbin.
He survived by his wife Betty; son, J.R. Decker Jr.; daughters, Sherry Lee, Rita Buckman and Doddie Carter; a brother, Steve (Carolyn); special nephew, Jimmy and several grandchildren.
Funeral ceremony 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at Newcomer Funeral Home , 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown, with burial in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central. Visitation 2-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
