Lawrence Earl Mock

Lawrence Earl "Larry" Mock, 95, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2015. He was a graduate of New Albany High School and attended the University of Louisville. Larry was a mason for over 70 years and was a member of the Masonic Lodge #39 in New Albany. He was an Eagle Scout, talented saxophone player, and member of Depauw UMC in New Albany.

He was born on June 17, 1920 to the late Charles, Sr. and Daisy (Durham) Mock. Larry was also preceded in death by his brothers, Everett, Orion, and Charles Mock, Jr.

Larry is survived by his wife of over 67 years, Eugenia (Richardson) Mock; children, Rebecca O'Neal, David Mock, Richard Mock (Carol), Lori Getty (Brian); sister, Mary Louise Pfisterer (Bill); 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

A reception of family and friends will be on Saturday, July 18, 2015 from 11 AM to 2 PM at Depauw UMC (925 Vincennes Street, New Albany, IN 47150) with a Masonic Service taking place at 1:45 PM. His Memorial Service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday and burial will take place at a later date at Fairview Cemetery in New Albany.
