LaVerne Joyce Bliss, 76, passed away on February 4, 2019.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Morris Bliss and parents, Albert and Helen Waters.
LaVerne is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Mudd, Helen (John Shimizu) Beckmann and Melondy Ganschow; grandchildren, John Robert Shimizu, Cody Ganschow, Tim Ganschow, Jr., Dylan Shimizu, Brandon Shimizu and Sophie Mudd and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 10, 2019, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, from 1pm-6pm. A celebration of LaVerne's life will be Monday, February 11, 2019, beginning at 11am at the chapel of the funeral home.
A graveside service will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery - Central, 2501 N. Dixie Blvd., Radcliff, KY.
