Lavern Harp, 82, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2020.
Lavern was retired from the Kentucky State Police. Lavern loved spending time with her husband in Satellite Beach Florida. She loved all her pets. Lavern loved spending time with her grandchildren. After many years in Florida, she returned to Kentucky to be close to her sisters. She loved the cool spring afternoons of Kentucky.
She was born on April 27, 1938 in Greensburg, Kentucky to D. Owen and Virginia (Lile) Sharp. She is preceded in death by her Parents and Husband, Donald Harp.
Lavern is survived by her Sons, Wes Harp (Sondra), Lee Harp (Rena), and Eric Harp (Venus), Sisters, Regina Morton, Brenda Higgins, and Pamela Faith, 15 Grandchildren, and 10 Great-Grandchildren.
The family will have a celebration of life at a later date.
The family requests that contributions in Lavern's memory be made to St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital.
