Lauri Ann Northcutt, a vibrant spirit and devoted family member, left us on January 7, 2026 in Clarksville, Indiana. Born on February 7, 1961, in Norfolk, Virginia, she radiated warmth and kindness from an early age, which grew into a remarkable life filled with love and friendship.

Lauri was a proud graduate of Clarksville High School, where her bright personality first shined. She embraced every opportunity to bring joy and connection into the lives of those around her. Known for her outgoing nature, she never met a stranger and thrived in spontaneous conversations, whether with an old friend or a new acquaintance. Her enthusiasm for life was infectious, revealing her true essence: a person who cherished relationships deeply.

As the owner of her own cleaning business, Lauri found gratification in her work, relishing the satisfaction that came from cleaning her home and serving others. This passion extended into every aspect of her life, where she expressed her love through dedication—both in her career and to her family.

Family was everything to Lauri. She was a proud mother to her two daughters, Amanda (Ben) Polston and Shelby Zoellers. Her heart swelled with joy and love for her granddaughters, Gabrielle and Peyton Polston, who were the light of her life and the embodiment of her deepest pride. Lauri’s accomplishments as a mother and grandmother were the greatest sources of fulfillment and happiness in her life.

Lauri is survived by her daughters, Amanda and Shelby, her treasured granddaughters, Gabrielle and Peyton, and her brother, Tim Wells. She also leaves behind her brother-in-law, Kevin Humphrey, sister-in-law, Brenda Wells, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends who will miss her dearly.

She is preceded in death by her devoted parents, Larry and Janice Wells, her sister, Dana Humphrey, and her brother, Mark Wells.
