Lauren Wathen

Lauren Renee Hall Wathen, 50, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022. Renee was a loving and devoted Wife, Mother, and Daughter. She enjoyed spending time with her children and was involved in all of their activities. Renee was a member of Maple Grove Baptist Church. She graduated from Moore High School in 1989. Renee had a passion and love for Country Music. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was born on April 24, 1971 in Louisville, Kentucky to Wally & Donna (Scheer) Hall. She is preceded in death by her Father, Wally Hall.

Renee is survived by her loving Husband of 27 years, Donnie Wathen, Sons, Josh Wathen, Logan Wathen, and Corey Wathen, Mother, Donna Hall. Renee also leaves behind to cherish her memory a host of Friends and Extended Family.

Visitation will be from 4-8pm on Wednesday, May 4th at Newcomer Funeral Home (10304 Dixie Hwy). A service celebrating her life will take place at 10:30am on Thursday, May 5th at the funeral home, then she will be laid to rest at Resthaven Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Renee's memory be made to the Family.
