Laura Tipton Sutton

Laura Tipton Sutton passed away on April 10, 2018.
She was born on May 4, 1940 in Henry County, KY to the late Joseph Marion Tipton and
Eva Mae Ogden Tipton. She was also preceded in death by her half-brother, Charles Sharp; and brother, William Tipton.
Laura was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, great aunt and friend. She loved being outside doing yard work and playing in her flower garden. She enjoyed the fellowship she had with her siblings and friends from Henry Central High School, New Castle, KY on monthly outings to different restaurants. She worked in Cosmetics at several top department stores mostly located at Oxmoor Mall. She also enjoyed going antiquing at many of the establishments in Shelbyville, KY and Louisville, KY. That was her therapy and her exercise. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Sutton; daughter, Marsha Henson (Darrell) of LaGrange, KY; bonus daughter, Cheri Sutton Davidson of Louisville, KY; bonus sons, Mike Sutton (Amy) of Chicago, IL; Joseph Sutton (Megan) of San Francisco, CA; grandchildren, Aaron Henson, Nicholas Sutton, Nathaniel Sutton, Luke Sutton, Henry Davidson, Grant Davidson, Samuel Sutton, Gabriel Sutton, Josephine Sutton; siblings, Maurice Tipton (April) of Sellersburg, IN; Mary Jo Jefferies (Kenny) of New Castle, KY; Faye Booth (Rodney) of Milton, KY; Carroll Ray Tipton (Rita) of New Castle, KY; Robert Tipton of Shelbyville, KY; and a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
A private gathering will be hosted for the family.
