Laura Ann (Missi) Engle

Laura Ann (Missi) Engle, 58, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, entered into eternal life on Friday, March 29, 2019, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Laura courageously lived with Lupus for 45 years. Her main passions in life were raising her 3 children, enjoying her grandchildren, and vacationing and staying in their cabin in Gatlinburg. She was a life-long member of St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church where she was involved in the Circle of Love and HIS Ministry.

She was born on May 24, 1960, in New Albany, Indiana, to Mary "Lucille" (Becht) Missi and the late Donald J. Missi.

Along with her mother, Laura is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Donald W. Engle; children, Tara (Justin) Martin, Tony (Lindsay) Engle, and Greg (Kristy) Engle; 7 grandchildren, Addison and Max Martin, Tinley and Paisley Engle, Mason and Logan Engle, and one more to be born in June; siblings, Rick (Glenda) Missi, Sr., Debbie (Jerry) Naville, Donnie (Sandy) Missi, Tim (Connie) Missi, Pat (Debbie) Missi, and Lisa (Mark) Huber; in-laws, Doug and Karen Engle, Jeff and Mary Engle, Tim and Kelly Engle, Karen and David Bleemel, and Annette and Steve Koch; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, April 1, 2019, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 2, 2019, in the chapel of St. Mary of the Knobs with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
