Larry Verrick, Sr.

Larry Ray Verrick, Sr., 63, passed away suddenly on Thursday, May 19, 2016, in New Albany, Indiana. Larry enjoyed hunting, fishing, and anything that involved being outdoors. He was an avid IU Basketball fan and loved spending time with his family.

Larry is survived by his wife of 46 years, Diana (DeWeese) Verrick; sons, Eric Verrick and Larry Verrick, Jr. (Leah); mother-in-law, Elizabeth McGinnis; grandchildren, Courtney, Justin, Tyler, and Kyle Verrick; great-grandchildren, Grace, Nevaeh, Brianna, and Allisen; and cousin, Jack Erdman. He is preceded in death by his parents, Nelson Theodore Verrick and Edith Starkey.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24, 2016, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana). His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
