Larry Sweeney

January 13, 1935 — February 14, 2017

Larry Sweeney, 82, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on February 14, 2017. He retired from G.E. after 33 years of service. He was also a Past Master of the Lyndon Lodge F&AM #960 and a 33rd Degree Mason of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite. His favorite hobby was restoring antique coin operated games.

Larry was born on January 13, 1935 in Morgantown, Kentucky to the late Thomas and Polly (Kelley) Sweeney. He was also preceded in death by his wife Judy Sweeney, daughter Dorie Eppler, and brother Tommy Sweeney.

Larry is survived by his daughters, Carol Burba, Danielle "Dee Dee" (Steve) Gibson, Dawn "Sissy" Marrs, son, Joe Sweeney. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of the memorial service at 3:00 pm on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville 40243).
