Larry Striegel

Larry Ross Striegel, 86, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully in his home on October 29, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Spokane Washington, he attended Mount Olive High School in Illinois and proudly served in the United States Army. He began a dedicated 37-year career as a corporate accountant with the Kroger Co., a role that eventually brought him to Louisville Kentucky in 1987.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Mary Striegel; his children, Denise Hinton ( Dave Hinton, Jr.) and Wendy Canuel; his brothers, Ralph Striegel and Leonard Striegel; grandchildren Steven Canuel, ( Codii Canuel) David Chandler Hinton, and Olivia Hinton; great-grandchildren Kylii Canuel.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Myrtle Mejaski (Bill Mejaski); his brother, Monte Striegel.

Larry’s wish was to be cremated with no funeral ceremony. He is forever in our hearts, may he rest in peace.
