Larry Eugene Skaggs

Larry Eugene Skaggs, 63, of Fairdale, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, February 11, 2022. Larry loved riding his motorcycle. He was a musician who played the guitar, and played with several bands over the years. Larry was a welder and mechanic by trade and never missed a day of work. He was a proud and devoted Son, Father, Brother, and especially Grandfather. Larry was a prankster and had an usual laugh, his laughter will be missed by all who knew him.

He was born on September 12, 1958 in Louisville, Kentucky to James and Joyce (Sturgeon) Skaggs. He is preceded in death by his Father, James Skaggs.

Larry is survived by his Mother, Joyce Skaggs, Daughter, Michelle Skaggs, Brothers, Terry Skaggs, and Darrin (Linda) Skaggs, Grandchildren, Tonimichelle Wilcoxon, and Lilliana Jones. Larry also leaves behind to cherish his memory a host of, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Friends, and Extended Family.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Thursday, at Newcomer Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Mt. Holly Cemetery in Fairdale, Kentucky.

The family requests that any contributions go to any Motorcycle Ride Charity Event in his honor.
