Larry McGraw, 76, of Taylorsville, Kentucky passed away on June 30, 2017.
He was self-employed as a truck driver, equipment operator and mechanic. He was a 40 plus year member of Hopewell Baptist Church and a Kentucky Colonel.
Dad was a great man, who loved his family and friends, living life to the fullest. He loved the Lord Jesus Christ and helping anyone who needed a hand. My dad was one of the smartest people I knew. He could fix, build, and create anything that was sent his way. He had finnes, with gas and oil running threw his veins. Dad loved anything mechanical, cars, trucks, motorcycles, mowers, and tractors. Watching Nascar or going to the dirt track races. My dad was one of the strongest men I have known. He could put the weight of the world on his shoulders and keep on going. He could handle anything thrown at him, always a hard worker and never gave up, a real inspiration to anyone who knew him. He loved spending time with his family, going to car shows with his grandson. Dad was always there for us, growing up all the way to his final breath. So much more to say, great dad, husband, grandpa, brother, and uncle. Dad will forever be missed but will always be in our hearts and minds. Till we see you again, one day. This is not good bye, we will always love you. Heaven has one more angel to watch over us, till we see you again.
He was born on October 10, 1940 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Clark and Bessie (Massie) McGraw. He was also preceded in death by his siblings Lee McGraw, Melvin McGraw, Mary Burgan, Johnny McGraw, Clark McGraw and niece Benita Reilly.
