Larry Martin "Big Blue"

Lawrence, Larry, Martin left his earthly body on Friday, September 13. Larry was definitely one of a kind and was loved and will be missed by many. He never met a stranger and would help anyone. Larry had many loves in his life. The most important were his family, Kentucky basketball and football, his dog Katy; followed by in no particular order, riding his trike, his numerous friends, Kentucky lottery, poker, beer and pot.

He was proceeded in death by his mother, Mildred Martin, his siblings, Craig Martin and John Martin, great nephew, Blake Alvey and father Harry Martin. he leaves behind his sister, Harriet Martin, brother Alan Martin (Becky) and sister Norma Cecil (James) along with numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was cherished by all.

The family asks that everyone who attends services, to honor Larry by wearing Kentucky Blue. 

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Wednesday September 18th at Newcomer Funeral Home (10304 Dixie Hwy). We will be honoring Larry's life with a celebration of his legacy at 6:30 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home. 

In lieu of flowers, to bring light to what Larry gave others, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Kentucky Organ Donation Affiliates.
