Larry Joe Marcell Sr.

Larry Joe Marcell Sr., 64, of Louisville, Kentucky, left his pain behind on Monday, August 9, 2021. Larry cherished his family especially his "Grand". A Chef by trade, he loved to cook and host for those he loved. Larry enjoyed growing huge flower gardens, and always had his dog "Tipsy" close by. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He was born on June 27, 1957 in Louisville, Kentucky to David and Janet (Huber) Marcell. He is preceded in death by his Son, Larry Marcell, Jr., Father, David Marcell, and Brother, Dennis Marcell.

Larry is survived by his Daughter, Cynthia (James) Whitworth, Mother, Janet Quiggins, Grandson, Chase Whitworth, Siblings, Sandy Conatser, Kevin Marcell, Garry (Christine) Marcell, and Gail Schultz. Larry also leaves behind to cherish his memory a host of Nieces, Nephews, Friends, and Extended Family.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Friday, August 20, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Friday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery.
