Larry Curtis Hedrick, 78, of Salem, Indiana, passed away on October 2, 2017. He retired from Smith Cabinet Company after 24 years. Larry will always be remembered for his love of drinking coffee.

Larry was born on August 5, 1939, in Borden, Indiana, to the late Charles and Stella (Curtis) Hedrick. Along with his parents, Larry was also preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy (Barnes) Hedrick; his son, Brian "Scott" Hedrick; and grandson, Coleman Porter.

Larry is survived by his sons, Kevin Hedrick, Jeffrey Hedrick (Pam), and James "Mike" Hedrick (Theresa); grandchildren, Melissa Cortez, James Polk, and Ashley Hagberg; great-grandchildren, Haley Ware, Rebecca Cortez, Adalynn Hedrick, and Kaden Hagberg; and sisters, Linda Decker and Wynnona Lee.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 5, 2017, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Ceremony will be held Friday, October 6, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with burial to follow at Miller Cemetery in Borden, Indiana.

Memorial contributions may be made to Crusade for Children and The American Heart Association.
