Larry Wayne French

Larry Wayne French, 75, of Palmyra, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2022. He was a United States Army veteran and retired from Master Lock Distribution Center in Louisville.

He was born on January 21, 1947, in Belleville, Illinois, to Matthew French and Martha (Welmon) Brown. In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his stepson, Jeffrey Scott Campbell.

Larry is survived by his wife, Caroline (Oakes) French; children, Stefannie Cahill (Shawn), Diane McAreavey (Steven), and Matthew French; the Campbell kids; siblings, Barbara Brown (Richard), Sarah Edwards, John Brown, and Gary Brown (Mary); and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His funeral service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home with burial and military honors to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Louisville.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Larry's memory may be made to Kosair Charities (982 Eastern Parkway, Louisville, KY 40217) in honor of Jeffrey Scott Campbell.
