Larry Alan Brown

Larry Alan Brown, 70, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2020. Larry enjoyed going to the lake, riding his motorcycle, and playing golf. He was an avid West Virginia Mountaineer fan. He loved hanging out with his friends and family. Larry enlisted in the United States Army and after his enlistment went and worked in the coal mines.

He was born on September 16, 1950 in Man, West Virginia to Willard and Kathleen (Wheeler) Brown. He is preceded in death by his Parents, Wife, Lucy Brown, Brother, P.J. Brown.

Larry is survived by his, Sons, Michael (Kim) Mannering, Tim Mannering (Tutti Cook), Grandchildren, Cassidi Mannering, Amanda Hanka, Isabel Nash, and Riley Nash, Great-Grandchildren, Andromda Hanka, and Chauncey Hanka, Siblings, Patricia Walker, Gary (Sue) Brown, Jimmy Brown, Gail White, and Tonnia Doty. Larry also leaves behind to cherish his memory a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Friends, and Extended Family.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Memorial Service will be at 5:00 pm on Saturday at the Newcomer Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will take place at a later date at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
