Lana Jo Broughton

Lana Jo Coomer Broughton, 49 passed away on November 30, 2017. Her passion in life was being a nurturing mother. Lana loved spending time with her children and being a MiMi to her grandson, Blayne, who she adored. Lana enjoyed sharing her life stories and cherished laughter. She treasured her faith, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Barnes; father Herbert Coomer and sister, Sandra Coomer.

Lana is survived by Aaron (Brittany) Coomer, Jordan Broughton and Emily Broughton; grandson, Blayne Broughton, siblings, Kristy (Pete) Henderson, Jackie (Kathy) Coomer, Michelle Adams and Jan (Benny Lewallen) Faust and numerous, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY from 3pm-8pm. A celebration of Lana's life will be Sunday, December 3, 2017 beginning at 2pm at the chapel of the funeral home.
