Kristina Rose Petersen Ethridge

Kristina Petersen-Ethridge, 52, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, January 15, 2021. She is now surrounded by the loving arms of our Lord, in His Holy Kingdom. Kristina was a loving Mother, Daughter, Sister and Friend.

Kristina earned her BSBA from Sullivan University in 2006, and graduated Magna Cum Laude. She was employed with UPS for 27 years. She was a member of St. Stephen Martyr Catholic Church. Kristina loved her mother, Barbara Petersen, and was extremely grateful that her mother instilled the Faith of our Lord and kept her close to her Catholic Faith. Without Faith, we have nothing. Kristina was a loving and devoted mother to her beautiful and talented daughter, Sophia Rose Ethridge. Sophia was her shining light and made Kristina extremely proud. Sophia meant the world to her and was the biggest source of Kristina's joy and happiness. Kristina's sister, Jennifer McDonogh (Paul), were always there for Kristina, with their never-ending support, guidance, love and humor. Kristina was also very proud of Samuel Garrett McDonogh, her nephew, who has become a wonderful young man.

Kristina was blessed with many lifelong friendships. she was very thankful for all of the support they provided throughout her lifetime and for the many good times shared. Kristina is survived by her daughter, Sophia Rose Ethridge, mother Barbara Petersen, sister Jennifer McDonogh (Paul) and Sophia's father John Ethridge.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 from 10:00 am until the time of Mass at 11:00am at St. Stephen Martyr Catholic Church (2931 Pindell Avenue Louisville, KY 40217) with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery.

The family asks that any charitable donations be made to Shirley's Way, The Scleroderma Foundation, or St. Stephen Martyr Church.
