Kristin Mary Ann Mitchell, 67, of Louisville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on May 26, 2016. Kristin was born in Kharagpur, India on July 26, 1948 to the late Jack and Yvonne (Woodhouse) Payne.
She is remembered by her husband of 47 years, John J. Mitchell, Jr. of Louisville; and children, Beth Mitchell Gencel (Basar) and Alex Mitchell, both of Izmir, Turkey.
Memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, May 29, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home - East Chapel (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243) with a gathering for family and friends from 1:00 pm until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the family, in care of John J. Mitchell, Jr.
