Kristi Marie Rose, aged 53, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away on Friday, September 19, 2025. Born on August 12, 1972, in Indianapolis, Indiana, Kristi was the cherished daughter of John Rose and Karen Ruckriegel. She is remembered for her immense love for animals, evidenced by her numerous cats and dogs.
A devoted professional, Kristi worked as an investment broker with Edward Jones, a pastry chef, and nurse. Beyond her professional achievements, Kristi showed a profound affection for nature, relishing in bird watching, and enjoyed nurturing her culinary skills while creating delightful meals for those she loved.
Her dedication to her family and community was apparent in all aspects of her life. She was an active member of Northside Christian Church, both contributing to and finding solace in her faith. Kristi's personality and caring nature endeared her to those around her, fostering relationships that she cherished deeply.
Kristi is survived by her mother, Karen Ruckriegel; her son, Monte Tooley; her beloved fur baby, Stella; her uncle, David Booth, along with many other family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her father, John Rose; her friend, Janna Grace; her beloved stepfather, James Ruckriegel; her paternal and maternal grandparents, and her aunt, Leslie Anne Booth.
Kristi's wish was to be cremated.
The family requests that contributions in Kristi’s memory be made to the National Humane Society and Northside Christian Church.
