Kristi Karole Bohannon

Kristi Karole Bohannon, formerly known as Kristi Fetz, passed away on September 18, 2024, at Baptist Health Louisville, at the age of 67. She was born on December 22, 1956, in New Albany, Indiana, and was a cherished member of her community.

Kristi was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose greatest love was her family. She survived by her daughter, Tisha (Dennis) Murphy, her beloved grandchildren, Kirsten (Daniel) Weinsheimer, Rhyan Murphy, and Marissa Murphy, as well as her great-grandchildren, Elijah, Ezra, and a great granddaughter expected any day, Evie. Kristi also leaves behind her siblings: Judy Tucker, Lonnie (Nancy) Fetz, Denny (Debbie) Fetz, Daniel Fetz, Linda (Bobby) Shewmaker, Rob (Stacy) Fetz, and Chuck (Janette) Fetz. Additionally, she is survived by her sister-in-law, Diana Bohannon, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of whom she held dear.

She will be deeply missed, not only for her role within her family but also for the joy she spread to those around her. Kristi enjoyed long walks in nature and found delight in playing cards, often sharing these interests with her loved ones. Her warmth and kindness touched many lives and created lasting memories that will be cherished forever.

Kristi was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mike Bohannon, and her parents, Lawrence and Christine Fetz. Her legacy of love and devotion to her family will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.

It was Kristi's wishes to be cremated with no services.

The family requests that contributions in Kristi’s memory be made to Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation.
