Krista Day, 29, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2020. She was born on November 2, 1990 in Louisville, Kentucky to Gary and Lisa McMahan.

Krista is preceded in death by her grandparents, Henry and Doris Cooksey and Marvin McMahan; and a cousin, Frank L. McMahan.

Left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Isaiah Day and Thomas Jones; father, Gary (Debby) McMahan; mother, Lisa McMahan; siblings, Scott (Francia) McMahan and Justin (Lori) Braden; Grandmother, Hilda Faye McMahan; nieces, Bella McMahan and Vanessa Braden; an uncle Dale (Deanne) McMahan and an aunt, Susan (Danny) Shane.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 and from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her funeral service will take place at the funeral home at 1:00 pm on Thursday with burial to follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
