Kitty Robbins Wilson

March 23, 1927 — October 14, 2016

Kitty "Carol" Robbins Wilson, 89, passed away on October 14, 2016. She was a volunteer for Little Sister's and attended local British Club. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, cooking and reading a good book each night. Carol was an avid UofL fan who never missed a game.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Raymond Robbins and Edward Wilson; son, Raymond Robbins, Jr. and daughter, Dianne Hardin.

Carol is survived by her children, Cheryll Mattingly, Vicki (Raymond) Bush, Therese Combs, Sara (Ray) Calautti, Denise (Gary) Dooley, Steven Robbins and Joanne (Bill) Shanander; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 18, 2016, from 1pm-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway). A celebration of Carol's life will be Wednesday, October 19, 2016, beginning at 11am at the chapel of Newcomer Funeral Home SW.

Burial will follow at Zachary Taylor National Cemetery, 4701 Brownsboro Road, Louisville, KY.
