Kimberly Ann (Proctor) Plaiss, 47, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2018. She was an avid Indiana Hoosiers fan and loved spending summers out by the pool. The most important thing in life to Kim was her family and friends.
She was born on December 25, 1970, in Charleston, South Carolina, to Nancy (Harley) Kahl and the late Don Proctor. Along with her mother, Kim is survived by her husband of almost 20 years, Christopher Plaiss; children, Kadyn Plaiss and Brittney Wright (Chad); brothers, Bryan Proctor (Tiffany) and Ben Kahl; stepfather, Dale Kahl; grandchildren, Addison, Kaylee, Macy, and Emerson Wright; niece, Amelia Proctor; and nephew, Preston Kahl.
Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 9, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southern Indiana Chapel (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Wednesday after 9:00 a.m. Her Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
