With love and deep sorrow, we announce that Kevin Maurice White, a beloved Son, Brother, Uncle, and friend returned to his Heavenly home on Friday, June 19, 2026. Kevin was born on November 17, 1964, in Louisville, KY to Mr. Archie F. and Anna Mae (Stone) White. Kevin graduated from Southern High School in 1982 where he played football for the Southern Trojans. After graduation Kevin attended Western KY University (WKU), JCC, and UofL. For many years Kevin worked as a Lab Technician for Lab Corp. He worked for UPS and Ford Motor Company LAP. For the last eleven years Kevin worked for Amazon Fulfillment Center in Jeffersonville as a Warehouse Distribution Associate.
Kevin accepted Jesus Christ his Lord and Savior at the age of fourteen years old while attending Green Street Baptist Church. Kevin found his calling when he joined the choir showcasing his skills singing solo’s and performing whenever he was needed inside and outside of the church. Kevin also worked with various ministries focused on community impact and support. Kevin received the man of the year award for his unwavering commitment to Green Street Baptist Church.
Kevin was Jovial, had a magnetic personality, and was selfless. Kevin loved to talk and give his point of view. He could be titled “Dr. Kevin” if you asked him. Kevin was full of life and the life of the party. You could hear him telling jokes and stories for hours. Kevin’s voice was loud, joyful, and rich. It resonated through every space he entered.
Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Mr. Archie F. White; mother, Anna Mae (Stone) White; brother, Archie A. White. Kevin leaves to celebrate his life sister’s, Coslynn and Donna White; brother, Gregory “Greg” White; aunt and uncle, Phyllis and John Jaha; nieces, Brittany & Samya White and Danielle Brown; nephews, Michael Porter, Dontrel and Jacob Rawlins; and a host of other family and friends.
God saw the road was getting rough, The hills were hard to climb
He gently closed those loving eyes, And whispered – “Peace be Thine
The weary hours, the days of pain, The Sleepless night are passed
The ever-patient, worn out frame, Has found sweet rest at last.

Visitation will be from 10am to 12pm on Monday, June 29, 2026 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243. A celebration of Kevin's life will follow at noon at the funeral home.
