Kevin Wayne Owens, fondly known as Rocky & Rocko, 64, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, June 25, 2021.
He was born on December 31, 1956 in Louisville, Kentucky to Herbert and Agnes (White) Owens. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Cynthia Carnes; nephew, Charlie Pearl; nephew, Richard Gainey.
He is survived by his daughter, Bessie Long; 2 grandsons, Brody L. Roberts & Charlie D. Roberts; sister, Patricia (J.P.) Patterson; brother, Doug "Boogie" (Monie) Owens; brother, Tommy Owens; sister, Sandy (Danny) Thompson; brother, Herbert "Slugger" (Jennifer) Owens, Jr; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews, great great nieces & nephews.
He enjoyed spending time with friends and family and loved giving children candy and freeze pops. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
A Celebration of Life for family and friends are planned for a later date.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions to be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
