Kevin W. First

Kevin W. First, 56, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on October 4, 2019. Kevin was born on June 20, 1963, in Louisville, Kentucky to Joseph First and Vannatta (Shanks) Jernigan. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed sharing the fruits and vegetables he grew with his neighbors and friends. Kevin had a big heart and will be remembered as someone who enjoyed to help others.

Kevin was preceded in death by his father and his sister, Teresa Crumpton.

Kevin is survived by his mother, Vannatta Jernigan; siblings, Toby First (Lisa), Jody First, Todd First (Pamela), Tonya First; a host of nieces and nephews and many friends.

Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Friday, October 11, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville). His Funeral Ceremony will be held Friday at 6:00 pm at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
