Listen to Obituary

K. Kevin Condra, 57, was born on March 5, 1969, in New Albany, Indiana. A proud 1987 graduate of Jeffersonville High School, Kevin went on to earn both his Associate and Bachelor’s degrees with high honors from Indiana University Southeast.

Kevin devoted 38 years to UPS, starting part-time loading airplanes while working his way through college. He advanced into management as a supervisor, where he took great pride in mentoring colleagues. Most recently, Kevin served as an Airline Internal Evaluation Auditor for UPS Airlines, traveling extensively across the U.S. and internationally to destinations like Germany. Though eligible to retire at 55, he chose to keep working simply because he loved auditing and traveling with his team.

An avid outdoorsman, Kevin cherished God’s creation. Whether camping as a child in Indiana State Parks, deer and duck hunting, or fishing on his 18-foot Skeeter boat—frequenting Kentucky Lake, Patoka Lake, and the Ohio River—he felt most at home in nature. Since moving into his home in 2000, he filled the surrounding woods with birdhouses and feeders, regularly feeding the local deer, wild turkeys, squirrels, and nesting doves. Each spring, he found joy in planting flowers and tending to his hanging baskets.

Kevin was a genuinely good man, a devoted son, and a faithful brother in Christ who loved life. He shared a deeply loving partnership with his girlfriend, Tracie Nifong, who remained steadfastly by his side.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Irvin and Edna (Bruder) Condra, and George Frank and Frances (Elliott) McCutcheon.

Kevin is survived by his loving parents, Kenneth E. and Carolyn "Sue" (McCutcheon) Condra of Clarksville, IN; his brother, Travis Condra (Jill) of Louisville, KY; his cherished nephew and niece, Owen and Cameron; and his loving girlfriend, Tracie Nifong.

"Kevin was more than just a brother and uncle to us—he was a constant source of laughter, generosity, and warmth. We will forever cherish the memories of him coming through the door, especially on Christmas Eve, and we miss him deeply every single day." — With all our love, Travis, Jill, Owen, and Cameron

Kevin passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love, prayers, and presence of his family and Tracie. He will be laid to rest at Miller’s Cemetery in Wyandotte, Indiana, a peaceful nature sanctuary reflective of the outdoors he so deeply loved.
