Kerry Wayne Freeberg, 58, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Monday, June 14, 2021. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and was an avid fan of the Kentucky Wildcats. Kerry enjoyed grilling, playing golf, and coaching volleyball and soccer.
He was born on September 26, 1962, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Kenneth and Betty (Greene) Freeberg. In addition to his parents, Kerry was preceded in death by his brothers, Donald "Skip" and Daniel Pennington.
Kerry is survived by his children, Kameron Freeberg, Lauren Freeberg, Samantha Benedict (Adron), Christi Durrett (Dwaine), and Ashley Jeffries; siblings, Cynthia Robinson (Rick), Carol Richardson (Butch), Kevin Freeberg (Karen), and Linda Stockdale (Tony); six grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
