Kerry Brian Sims, 50, of Lanesville, Indiana passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2015. He was a member of the Local 502 Pipefitters in Louisville. Kerry enjoyed Nascar, model cars, and airplanes. He also loved spending time with his family and friends.

He was born on March 9, 1964 in Louisville to Raymond, Sr. and Agnes (Woods) Sims. Along with his parents, Kerry is survived by his siblings, Raymond Sims, Jr. (Carol), Tim Sims (Melody), Mary Sims, Patricia Emerson (Tom), Patrick Sims (Melissa); wife, Deanna Sims; son, Shane Sneed; and many nieces, nephews, and good friends.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM on Monday, March 9, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will be held at 1 PM on Tuesday, March 10, 2105 with visitation before from 11am to time of service at the funeral home with burial to follow at St. Mary of the Knobs Cemetery in Floyds Knobs, Indiana.
