Kent Hamilton, passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2016. Born in Baltimore, Maryland on March 14, 1927 to Gevevieve D. Maguire (1898-1940) and Warren S. Hamilton (1886-1972). Educated and raised in Philadelphia he attended the University of Pennsylvania graduating with a Chemistry degree and became a career employee with the Defense Procurement Agency in Philadelphia. He was a veteren of the US Army and a member of the American Legion.
He is survived by numerous relatives including John Engelhardt, Melodie Schmidt, and Laine Wolfe all of Louisville.
A special mention goes to the staff of the Memory Care Unit at Brookdale, Blankenbaker for their assistance over the past five years.
Visitation will be from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, May 25th, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243). Interment will be at Chelton Hills Cemetery in Philadelphia, PA.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation are encouraged.
