Kenny Fortney

Kenny Fortney, 68, of Lexington, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2024. 

He was born on March 14, 1956 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Georgia (Stewart) Fortney. He is also preceded in death by his four brothers, Walter Fortney, Ronnie Fortney, Ashell Edwards and Chuck Fortney. 

Kenny is survived by his daughters, Mariea Ann Flowers (Brian), Keri Lynn Fortney, son, Cody Ray Fortney (Haley); five grandchildren, Destiny, Braden, Kaleb, Corbin, Clayton; siblings, Jimmy Fortney and Lisa Dentith. 

Per Kenny's wishes cremation was chosen and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the family in the name of Mariea Flowers. Flowers may be sent to Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions East Chapel in the name of Cody.
