Kenneth Darren Perkins, 65, of Valparaiso, Indiana passed away on Friday, August 14, 2015 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
Darren was born on March 4, 1950 in Gary, Indiana to the late Kenneth W. & Eunice (Orsburn) Perkins. He worked for over 25 years at the Porter County Juvenile Detention Center until his retirement as Director. After retiring, Darren continued to invest his time mentoring youth through young adult ministries.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, August 21, 2015 at Northside Christian Church (4407 Charlestown Road, New Albany, IN) with gathering time from 10 AM until the time of service.
