Kenneth Napier, 81, of Louisville, Kentucky, formerly of Evarts, Kentucky, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Saturday, May 9, 2020, at Louisville Post Acute. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hike the Eastern Kentucky mountains.
Kenneth was born on April 1st, 1939, in Three Point in Harlan, Kentucky, to the late Ewell and Martha Napier.
He was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard and served his country honorably. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Alexander Napier, John Henry Napier, Robert Wheeler Napier, and Billy Ray Napier. He is survived by his son, Jeffrey Napier; his wife, Lisa; his brother, Walter Wayne Napier and his wife, Jean of Jacksonville, Florida; sister, Carma Rebecca Peace of Kenvir, Kentucky; brother, Luke Vernon Napier of Middlesboro, Kentucky; sister Lily Etta Somers of Oliver Springs, Tennessee; grandchildren, Chris Crawford and his wife Summer, Jamie Jackson and her husband Jeff, and Michael Stastny; six great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews to mourn his passing.
Cremation was chosen following Kenneth's wishes.
