Kenneth Edward Marlin , 72, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2020.
He was born on July 29, 1948 in Nashville, Tennessee to John and Margret (Huddleston) Marlin. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his stepfather, Gerald Deaux Eldridge, and sister, Carolyn Hudson.
Kenneth retired from the Courier Journal and proudly served our country in the U.S. Army, and was a member of both the VFW Post 6182 and American Legion Post. He enjoyed wood working and his trips with grandchildren. Kenneth will also be remembered for his kindness, generosity and making people laugh.
Kenneth is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Charolette Ann Marlin, children, Robert Michael (Angie) Donahue, and Joseph (Laura) Donahue; grandchildren, Charolette (Jason) Donahue, Natalee Donahue, Cole Donahue and Evangeline Hebert; along with his brother, Roy Lee Marlin.
There will be a private family ceremony taking place at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, KY.
The family kindly suggest that expressions of sympathy be made to the VFW or the American Legion Post in his honor.
