Kenneth Edward Kissel, Jr., 69, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2019.
He was born on April 15, 1950 in Louisville , Kentucky to the late Kenneth Edward Kissel, Sr. and Anita (Brewer) Kissel.
Kenny retired from General Electric in 2005 after 37 years of service. He enjoyed working on cars, tinkering on everything and anything and loved his Louisville Cardinals. Kenny's greatest joy was his family. He adored his wife, loved his daughters and treasured his grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Margie Kissel, daughters, Trista McBarnette (Geoff), Kristal Kissel, Jamie Parker (Mike), four grandchildren Brody, Amelia, Kami and Kenneth. He is also survived by two siblings Patricia Brinley (Hubert), Timothy Kissel (Jackie), brother-in-law, Jim Blair, two nieces, four nephews and one great niece.
Visitation will be on Monday, October 21, 2019 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions East Chapel (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY 40243).
His funeral service will be on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at 11:00 am at the funeral home.
The family requests that contributions in Kenny's memory be made to the American Lung Association, 55 W Wacker Drive, Suite 1150, Chicago, IL 60601.
