Kenneth "Kenny" L. Weber passed away on August 21, 2025, in Louisville, Kentucky. Born on April 17, 1956, in New Albany, Indiana, Kenny was a man known for his humor, warm spirit, and commitment to his family and friends.
He attended New Albany High School, where he began laying the foundation for a life filled with joy and laughter. Kenny dedicated 15 years of his professional career to the New Albany Floyd County Schools.
A true jokester at heart, Kenny loved to play tricks on his family and friends, often lighting up a room with his infectious laughter. He thoroughly enjoyed camping, fishing, and spending time in the great outdoors. Kenny was also musically inclined and played guitar and drums, sharing his passion for music as a member of a band called the Midnight Ramblers and he also played with Jim Simon. He enjoyed a rich social life that included memorable cookouts with loved ones and their annual Halloween bash, where his spirited personality truly shone.
Above all, Kenny was devoted to his family. The joy of his life was spent in the company of his loved ones, cherishing every moment he had with them. He is survived by his wife, Jane Weber; his sons, Stephen Weber, Justin (Maranda) Weber, and Johnny Lee Weber; and his sisters, Phyllis (Jim) Swartz, Doris (Pat) Rottet, and Jeanine (Tom) Rakes. Kenneth's legacy also lives on through several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends who will miss his vibrant presence.
He is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth "Kenny" Weber, Sr.; his mother, Bertha Dietrich; and his sisters, Betty Bryant and Marilyn Ashley. Kenny's family invites all who knew him to come together to celebrate his life and the memories they shared.
Visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southern Indiana, located at 3309 Ballard Ln, New Albany, IN 47150, on Friday, August 29, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and again on Saturday, August 30, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will follow on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at 11:00 AM. A burial will follow at Edwardsville Cemetery in Georgetown, Indiana.
Kenny leaves behind an enduring legacy of love, laughter, and cherished moments that will be forever fondly remembered by his family and friends.
