Kenneth Orman Gerry, Jr.

October 3, 1946 — January 22, 2022

Kenneth Orman Gerry, Jr., 75, of Georgetown, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2022. He was a United States Air Force veteran, as well as an active member and Deacon at Evangel World Prayer Center in Louisville. Kenny had been the owner of Chores Unlimited, worked at Conrail and Koetter Woodworking, and was a current employee of the Harritt Group. He enjoyed riding his bicycle on the New Albany Greenway, had a great sense of humor, and loved to make others laugh.

He was born on October 3, 1946, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Julia (Spalding) Gerry and the late Kenneth Gerry, Sr. In addition to his mother, Kenny is survived by his wife, Mary "Ellen" (Harritt) Gerry; children, Jon Gerry, Mendy Christensen (Michael), and Chad Gerry; siblings, Shannon Gerry and Janice Gerry; and grandchildren, Jonathan and Stephen Gerry, Nicole Dietrick, and Avery and Brooklyn Christensen.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). A graveside service with military honors will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at Edwardsville Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Kenny's memory may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
