Kenneth George Schindler Jr.

August 4, 1953 — April 19, 2016

Kenneth George "Bugsy" Schindler, Jr., 62, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on April 19, 2016. He was born on August 4, 1953, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Kenneth and Virginia (Gittings) Schindler. Bugsy worked as a salesman for Arett Sales for many years. He was a U. S. Navy veteran and did volunteer work for Exit 0 in Jeffersonville, Indiana. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving wife, Monya (Turner) Schindler; children, Stacy Stiller (Jim), Lauren Thompson (Jeremy), Kenny G. Schindler III; stepsons, Patrick Alexander (Farrah) and Kevin Vittitow; siblings, Vicky Heil-Carpenter (Walt), William, Jerry, and Kevin (Denise) Schindler; and three grandchildren, Daniel and Penelope Alexander and Raelee Vittitow.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM on Thursday, April 21, 2016, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150). His Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 21, 2016, at Newcomer Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. with burial to follow at St. Louis Catholic Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
