Kenneth Bohler

September 29, 1943 — December 30, 2018

Kenneth Bohler (Ken) died peacefully in the VA Hospice Unit on December 30th, 2018 after years of ill health. He was born in Anderson, Indiana on September 29th, 1943.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Carolyn, mother Virginia and father, Charles Bohler.

He is survived by his son, Kenneth Jr. (Gerri Ann Cassidy), grandsons, Hale and Josh, granddaughter, Madeline, and sister, Catherine Bohler (Larry Hopkins), along with numerous cousins and friends.

He graduated from Trinity High School in 1961, joined the US Marine Corps where he served from 1964 to 1968, fulfilling a 14 month tour in Vietnam.

He was a home builder and remodeling contractor, and started his own company, Summit Homes.

He was an avid CATS fan, loved skiing, hunting, boating, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday January 8, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY). Mass of Celebration will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 9th at Epiphany Catholic Church, 914 Old Harrods Creek Rd, Anchorage, KY 40223.

Memorial Contributions can be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
