Kenneth Scott Barger

June 10, 1951 — November 23, 2017

Kenneth Scott Barger a truck driver and lifelong resident of Louisville, Kentucky died unexpectedly on November 23rd, 2017 in his home, at the age of 66. Kenny was born June 10th,1951 at St. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital and lived his childhood on Berry Boulevard. He began adulthood by serving 2 years in the U.S. Army and was discharged with full honors. After returning stateside, Kenny took pride in his work as a Nabisco delivery. Kenny was a social and active man heavily involved in his neighborhood. He enjoyed catching up with friends and being outside. His family and friends will always remember him as a devoted and gregarious person. Kenny is preceded in death by his son Benjamin Scott Barger.

Kenny is survived by his daughter Sara Nance and husband Scott Nance; along with his puppy companions Tucker and Lucy. Also surviving are his siblings Helen, Linda, Bruce and their families.

Visitation will be 12-2pm on Wednesday, December 6, 2017, with a celebration of Ken's life at 2pm, all at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Kenneth's life.
